Yes. Here are the products we plan to release soon:
Our formula is expertly blended with a combination of organic and lab-synthesized ingredients for maximum effectiveness. In addition to mandelic acid, the serum contains the potent anti-oxidant resveratrol in addition to glucosamine for skin textural improvements. Also blended in are boswellia, licorice and other agents, including plant ceramides that repair barrier function while allowing penetration through the stratum corneum and into the upper layers of the epidermis. As a result, Stanley Jacobs MD Visco-Elastic Transforming Serum™ is able to penetrate the skin, and its ability to promote the visco-elasticity of the skin is enhanced.
Yes. The mandelic acid molecule is larger than its cousin, glycolic acid, which means it penetrates skin more slowly. This sustained action produces less irritation, allowing the serum to be used on all skin types and with varying skin pigmentation. If you have dry skin, the moisture-restorative properties of mandelic acid and other serum ingredients will help keep your skin feeling supple. If your skin is oily and prone to breakouts, the mandelic acid can help by neutralizing acne bacteria.
Yes. Mandelic acid, the active ingredient in Stanley Jacobs MD Visco-Elastic Transforming Serum™, has the added benefit of reducing breakouts due to its ability to neutralize acne bacteria.
Participants in Dr. Jacobs' clinical study applied Visco-Elastic Transforming Serum™ to their faces and necks twice daily. Each week, their skin was tested with a Cutometer®, a device proven to measure visco-elasticity of the skin, accurate to one millionth of an inch. Improvements were substantial by the third week, with increases in elasticity seen in the eyelids, cheeks, jowls and necks. By the fourth and fifth weeks, some patients had seen as much as 85 percent improvement. The study also included photographic evidence that tracked closely with improvements measured by the Cutometer®.
As long as you apply the serum first and allow it one minute to penetrate your skin, you can apply additional products without altering the serum's effectiveness. If you use a topical prescription product for acne, rosacea, eczema or other skin condition, check with your physician before using Visco-Elastic Transforming Serum™.
Adding a minimal amount of water will not affect the serum's efficacy. The application may not feel as long-lasting, but will still provide all the firming, anti-aging benefits.
For best results, use twice daily as follows:
Day -- apply your daytime moisturizer, a lotion with a minimum of SPF 30, and other products as needed
Night -- apply your nighttime moisturizer, eye cream and other products as needed
Depending on your skin type, you may not need a moisturizer (or need less over time) due to the serum's moisture-restorative properties -- but protecting your skin from sun damage with an SPF 30 or higher product is a must.
